Byron Bay is one of the best holiday destinations in Australia. The town is located in New South Wales although it is only in 170km south east of Brisbane. The town's population is about 10.000 and Byron Bay is famous for its world famous locals apart from its beaches.
Byron Bay is also the most easterly point of Australia and its famous lighthouse built in 1901 is another must see of the town.
